3021 PHENOLIC PAPER LAMINATED SHEET
Description
Phenolic Paper laminated sheets is made of insulation paper impregnated with phenolic resin
by processing under heat and pressure.
Features
Phenolic paper Laminated Sheet is strong, rigid and very economical. it has good electrical
insulating properties and it’s used in a wide range of electrical installations, in equipment
where rigid electrical insulation is required.
The impact strength of phenolic paper laminated sheet is not as high asmaterials in
other groups and it’s not usually chosen where toughness,bearing properties
or high stress carrying capabilities are required.
However, the lowest cost grades in this group representexcellent value as
rigid non-metallic materials and it’s used in a very wide range of lessdemanding
applications.
These materials offer an economic solution to engineering applicationswhere good
mechanical strength coupled with light weight and useful electrical
resistance is required.
