Description
HTG-410 Heat Treatment Fiberglass Sleeving is a braided fiberglass sleeving which has been heat treated and impregnated with an acrylic binder.
Features
· Abrasion resistance with high flexibility.
· 240°C to 650°C operating temperature range.
· Insulation Class C.
· Standard color is natural. Other colors available upon request.
· UL approved and VW-1.
· Available in standard and heavy walls.
Applications
It is used as primary insulation on low
voltage applications but at high temperature, such as leads in toasters, hot plates, hand irons, coffee makers, range units, percolators, french-fry vessels and other appliances.
In some cases, HTG fiberglass sleeving is used as supplementary insulation and protection for other types of primary insulation such as asbestos, extruded silicone rubber, etc. It ispopular as a replacement for asbestos gasket.
