NHN Nomex Paper/Polyimide Film Composite is Laminates of 2 layers of aramide paper (Nomex® ) bonded to one layer of special polyimide film (Kapton)
Features
· Insulation class H (180°C)
· Smooth, abrasion-resistant surface ensures excellent machinability
· Excellent dielectric properties and mechanical tensile strength
· Very good absorption of impregnation and trickle resins
Applications
Extensively used as primary insulation for Class H applications in the electrical industry, in particular for motors and transformers as slot insulation, phase barrier and interturn insulation.
