Description

Flexible Mica Plate is a good heat resistant insulating material, which retains its permanent flexibility at room temperature . The product consists of approximately 90 % Muscovite (or Phlogopite) and 10% high temperature resistant silicone resin.

Flexible Mica Plate has acquired UL94V-0 approval with the file No.E231452, TUV approval on environmental safe (the file No. Z05811263 ), SGS-RoHS approval with the file No. SH6148278/CHEM, and has been authorized for use in contact with food products (certificate from the FDA with the file No. RJSSZ060586FDA).

Flexible Mica Plate has two species:

1: Muscovite Flexible Mica Plate , Silver color, Heat resistance: 500 ℃ / 932 °F (In constant operation), 750 ℃ / 1382 °F (in intermittent operation) .

2: Phlogopite Flexible Mica Plate , Golden/Amber color, Heat resistance: 750 ℃ / 1382 °F (In constant operation), 1000 ℃ / 1832°F (in intermittent operation) .

1. Size: Sheets of 1000 x 600 mm 1000 x 1200 mm 1000 x 2400mm

These materials are quite flexible and can be cut to desired sizes.

2. Thickness:0, 1mm , 0.15mm , 0.2mm , 0.25mm , 0.3mm , …… 3.0mm .

Features

1. Excellent resistance to heat up to 1000°C. It has unique temperature resistance, the maximum working temperature for the Muscovite Mica Plate and Phlogopite Mica Plate are approximately 5 0 0 ℃ and 750 ℃ respectively, Peak work temperature are 750 ℃ and 1000 ℃ respectively.

2. Excellent electrical insulation. It has excellent dielectric properties, the maximum dielectric is more than 20KV/mm.

3. E xcellent tensile strength and easy to form at room temperature.

Application

It can be permitted winding or wrapping into place without heating. They are used as linings, covers or backings, as a separating sheet or insulating sheet, the application is: Heat gun, Hair dryers, Fan heaters, Circuit breakers, Transformers, Electric furnaces, Generator, Magnetic Coil, Coil Insulation etc.
