Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft Paper is a fundamental and high-performance material engineered specifically for electrical insulation applications. Manufactured from 100% high-quality sulfate insulating wood pulp, this paper undergoes a highly refined and meticulous cleaning process. This ensures a product with a uniform thickness, exceptional purity, and freedom from critical defects such as pinholes, un-dispersed fiber bundles, and other tiny imperfections that could compromise performance. This robust Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft Paper possesses stable electrical and chemical properties, coupled with high physical strength, making it an exceptionally reliable choice for demanding low-voltage applications. It is well-suited for the insulation of electromagnetic wires, power cables for transformers below 35kV, and various other electrical equipment operating below 35kV.

The primary application of this Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft Paper is to provide a dependable dielectric barrier in a wide array of electrical apparatus. It is extensively used by conductor manufacturers as an insulating wrap for aluminium and copper wires. Furthermore, it serves as critical insulation between the wound coil layers in electrical motors, and is a key component in capacitors, transformers, and other similar electrical equipment. Available in continuous rolls for efficient industrial processing, our standard offerings come in widths of 625mm, 960mm, and 1200mm, with a standard roll diameter of 680mm to 730mm. The paper is supplied in a comprehensive range of nominal thicknesses from 50 to 250 microns (2 to 5 mil), with customized dimensions available upon request. Rigorous quality control is maintained, as evidenced by its technical data, which confirms excellent electric strength (min. 7.0 KV/mm), controlled moisture content, and strong mechanical properties like tensile and tear indices, ensuring it meets the exacting requirements of the electrical industry.
